The manufacturer’s linseed oil varnish is mixed with BIRKOSIT to make the paste easier to spread and apply. It is intended for sealants with demanding temperature-resistance requirements.
Use the specified product
The BIRKOSIT data sheet describes adding a tenth part of the manufacturer’s boiled linseed oil as an alternative to bringing the tin to room temperature. Follow the product instructions for preparation and mixing.
